HOW TO INSTALL THE ACTION – ADOBE PHOTOSHOP

Open your Photoshop and go to the Action Panel. If you don’t find the Action Panel, please go to menu bar, select Window ▶ Actions.
Click the dropdown icon on the top right corner of the Action Panel to open the option menu, then click on ‘Load Actions’ (see the picture below).

Now, select the action file (*.atn) you wish to install. Click Load/Open button to complete the installation.
The action will now appear in your Action Panel and ready to use. 

PREPARE YOUR PHOTO FOR REALISTIC PAINTING EFFECT

Your photo must in flatten image. Check the layer panel and make sure your photo has only a single layer called ‘background’ (see the picture below). To set your photo as a background: Go to menu bar, then select Layer ▶ Flatten Image.

Your photo must in RGB color mode. To set the color mode: Go to menu bar, then select Image ▶ Mode ▶ RGB Color.
Your photo must have 8 bits color. To set the color bit: Go to menu bar, then select Image ▶ Mode ▶ 8 Bits/Channel.

HOW TO RUN THE ACTION

Open a photo you want to work with
Preparing your photo and Photoshop
Run the action :Go to action panel. Select the action you have been installed, open the action set/group (A), select the action you want to run (B), then click the play button to run the action  C) – (see the picture below).

Finish : A message box will appear when render is completed (see the picture below).Click STOP to finish it.

How to use SS – Painting FX Canvas 1000-3000

1. Install/load this action into the Action Panel (read How to install the action – adobe photoshop)
2. Open your photo to work with
3. Preparing your photo and Photoshop (read Prepare your photo for realistic painting effect)
4. Go to Action Panel and open the Action Set/Folder “SS – Painting FX Canvas 1000-3000”
5. Select one of the Painting actions (C.1000 -or- C.2000 -or- C.3000) and then click the play button to run the action.
6. When the render is completed, go to Layer Panel and open the green group called “Painting Fx – Canvas…”. Inside this group, you will find 4 options of Painting Fx. Select one of them or combined (set the opacity to combine).
7. If you like, you could adjust some effects to fit your taste (Details, HDR Effect, Saturation, Contrast and more)
8. Additional – Run the action “Texture and Color” if you want to add canvas texture and color
9. Additional – Once you’re happy with the adjustment, you could run the action “Sharpen” to make it sharper. You could repeat this action to get the stronger sharp effect (This action should be played at the last)

How to use SS – Painting FX Canvas 4000

1. Install/load this action into the Action Panel (read How to install the action – adobe photoshop)
2. Open your photo to work with
3. Preparing your photo and Photoshop (read Prepare your photo for realistic painting effect)
4. Go to Action Panel and then open the Action Set/Folder “SS – Painting FX Canvas 4000”
5. Run the action “Step 1” and wait the process until you see the result (basic effect)
6. When the render is completed, do this following:
7. – If you’re happy with the result, skip “Step 2” and run the action “Step 3”
8. – If you want to soften the effect, run the action “Step 2” (you could repeat this step). Once you’ve got the look you like, run the action “Step 3”
9. If you like, you could adjust some effects to fit your taste (Details, HDR Effect, Saturation, Contrast and more)
10. Additional – Run the action “Texture and Color” if you want to add canvas texture and color
